Mix and Match with Hexagon Carpet Tiles

"The design intent was to demonstrate a reflection of Auckland as a Maritime city," says interior designer Felicia Wan.

Completed in December 2014, the installation utilises the Hexagon collection's wide variety of design and colour options. Hexagon includes four carpet tile styles – Plane, Linear, Linear Shift and Bevel – with warm to cool colour palettes, enabling plenty of mixing and matching.

"The choice of colours reflect the design premise," adds Wan. "With 'The Living Room', warm colours of orange and red [were used], The Garden or 'Front Lawn', fresh and vibrant green, and with 'The Beach', shades of blue tiles which mimic the sea were interspersed with neutral browns representing the foreshore or sand."

All Hexagon carpet styles are constructed of EcoSolution Q fibre and 100 per cent PVC and bitumen free EcoWorx backing, and offer a lifetime commercial warranty covering abrasive wear, tuft bind, edge ravel and delamination.

Hexagon is Cradle to Cradle CertifiedCM Silver, completely recyclable and manufactured with recycled content. It also features the highest level of GECA certification and is certified with a Green Star 'Level A' product rating, according to the Green Building Council of Australia.

Jacobsen distribute Hexagon carpet tiles on behalf of Shaw Contract Group.
