Partitioning Door System Solution for Westpac

The client required large sets of clear glazed top hung doors to close off customer areas within the branches, providing a semi secure area after hours and then completely open during business hours.

The solution was to use 1-lite CS NewYorker doors, along with dual and triple full height track systems. These one piece, heavy duty, top hung tracks can handle the weight of a 180 - 200kg door leaf.

The CS design team helped the installer with layout and installation detailing, then their production team had to really get organised for some two and three day turn around times to ensure that day to day business operations for this high profile customer were not too adversely affected. Once installed, the doors were branded with Westpac's motif to complete the look.

The CS NewYorker is 38mm thick, and has been purpose designed to work in conjunction with CS Cavity Sliders and CS Pre-Hung Jamb systems for a complete solution

CS Cavity Sliders will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2 and B1.3.4. CS Cavity Sliders meet the requirements for loads arising from self-weight, earthquake, wind and impact [i.e. B1.3.3 [a], [f], [h] and [j]].
Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1 [a], not less than 50 years, [b], 15 years and [c], 5 years. CS Cavity Sliders meet these requirements.
Clause F2 Hazardous Building Materials: Performance F2.3.1. CS Cavity Sliders meet this requirement and will not present a health hazard to people.
