Resene Metallic Favourites

Silvers, golds, coppers and pewters have stood the test of time and are continuing to be popular decorating colour choices.

Metallic paints were first introduced to the local market by Resene around a decade ago, and at the time, it was the striking dazzle of the Resene Enamacryl Metallic Blast Grey tone that caught people's eyes.

As time has travelled by, the desire for metallic finishes has tended towards the softer metallic sheen of the Resene Enamacryl Metallic Silver Aluminium and new Fine Aluminium tone. Resene Enamacryl Metallic Fine Aluminium uses a smaller metallic flake to give a superb metallic sheen, without the dazzle of coarser metallics. It creates a softer metallic effect finish, ideal for those who love the sheen of metallics but perhaps don't want to splash out on anything too dazzling.

Resene Metallics and special effects are ideal for everything from exterior and interior walls to a finish for steelwork, furniture and kitchen cabinetry.

Colour chips are finished in the actual Resene Metallics and special effects finishes. And as a handy reference, the recommended basecoat for each colour is included in brackets next to the topcoat finish.
