Franke Water Systems Rebrands to KWC

Renowned kitchen products manufacturer Franke Group recently divested its Franke Water Systems division, including the KWC Group, to Equistone Partners Europe, a prominent European equity investor. This strategic move has led to the rebranding of Franke Water Systems to the well-established Swiss brand, KWC, marking a new era for the former Franke washroom products now to be known as KWC.

Among the popular KWC offerings promoted by MacDonald Industries in New Zealand are stainless steel toilets, washbasins, urinals, Miranit composite resin washbasins, Exos washroom hardware range and GRP washbasins and toilets tailored for public, commercial, and healthcare facilities.

Chris Ford, the Managing Director of MacDonald Industries, assures that despite the brand name change to 'KWC,' it's business as usual in the short-term. Looking ahead, the focus of KWC on its 'Home,' 'Professional,' and 'Medical' ranges presents promising opportunities to introduce more innovative solutions to the New Zealand market.

While the Franke name will still have a presence in New Zealand, it will solely represent its Kitchen systems moving forward.
