So when Stratum Management were looking for a suitable premium range of products to use in the construction of their new five level, nine apartment, Oriental Parade apartment complex, they came to Forman Building Systems for assistance.

Space is at premium along Oriental Parade, and Stratum wanted to be able to provide a superior building insulation using as little space as possible.

Kingspan Kooltherm K10 is an insulation board that was able to assist with this requirement by offering an exceptionally high R value within a minimal product thickness. It effectively reduced the overall wall thickness, optimising the available internal space.

The added benefits of superior fire performance, environmentally friendly manufacture and a vapour barrier meant that K10 ticked all the appropriate boxes. Also, by applying the K10 directly to external concrete walls using Ramset’s innovative insulfast GT fixing gun, the product was able to be fixed in an efficient manner by Stratum’s onsite labour, meaning a separate sub trade was not required.
