As many will be aware, Auckland Council have recently changed their requirements for a generic balustrade system Producer Statement (PS1). They are now required to be 'job / address specific' with the following additional mandatory information included for every consent application:
- Date
- Details of the site owner (or developer),
- Building consent authority (ie. Auckland Council),
- Project site address and balustrade system product name
Along with these new requirements, Juralco are also aware of compelling feedback from architects wanting readily available producer statements via an online system. Juralco have listened and introduced a user-friendly online system where specifiers fill in the necessary project information and a compliant producer statement is emailed directly to them.
Consent applications involve collation of a huge amount of information from many different sources and this online system has been designed to lessen the burden of obtaining compliant balustrade producer statements.
Note: This online system is for standard Juralco balustrade fixings only, as detailed in the relevant manual. For non-standard fixings a site specific PS1 is required, which can be obtained on request from Juralco.
Juralco Balustrade Producer Statements can be retrieved from the Juralco website or by clicking on the 'Producer Statement' option on any Juralco balustrade product page on EBOSS.
