Juralco is pleased to introduce the new Contemporary Balustrade System, which is primarily designed for retaining walls where a balustrade is required (for a fall over 1m). This system has been developed in response to market demands for landscaping installations requiring a balustrade/barrier.

The balustrade is formed from standard 1200mm high welded Contemporary Fence Panels or raking fence panels, which are cut down to the required widths. The standard 2.4m contemporary fence panels are cut in half to make best use of the full panels and cut down on wastage. The maximum post centres for the standard fence panels are 1480mm and 1500mm for raking panels at 11°.

Contemporary Balustrade is a SED (Specifically Engineered Design) system that has been through rigorous testing overseen by an independent engineer, to ensure compliance with AS/NZS1170. The corresponding Producer Statement is available for download on the Contemporary Balustrade product page.

Outdoor finishes are often a last minute consideration in a residential design, but can greatly affect the overall aesthetics. This extension to the Contemporary range means that architects can now specify a cohesive and stylish finish with matching outdoor barrier and fencing for residential landscaping situations. Available in a stylish black finish or a choice of modern powder coat colours, Contemporary Balustrade and Fencing offers a stunning finish for virtually all designs.
