New Balustrade Born Out of Evolving Architectural Styles

Stecca is an extension of the hugely popular Edge aluminium post system, which offers a 49mm slat/fin finish connected to front of the support rails, adding a stylish and three-dimensional finish to the barrier. No longer are designers restricted to balusters having to sit within the confines of framing, now they can add depth with these front-mounted Stecca fins.

With urban house sizes decreasing, modern designs have evolved to incorporate more details and elements to add a greater sense of space in smaller areas.

Stecca’s vertical design adds height to the space and depth with its three-dimensional finish, whilst adding architectural detailing to the finished design. Stecca can be further enhanced by the choice of powder coating colours. With clever consideration the top and bottom rail can be finished in colours to match the home’s walls, helping to create the illusion that the vertical rails are floating and not fixed to a horizontal structure for support.

Stecca can be top or face fixed and offers all the Edge balustrade features that designers know and love — gutter brackets connections for waterproof decks, hidden fixings, aluminium componentry, NZBC compliance and it's powder coated here in NZ for the best in quality Dulux finishes.

Details for Stecca are now on Page 96-100 of the Edge Balustrade Specification Manual.
