Eliminate Bathroom and Wetroom Flooding

Bathrooms, kitchens and laundries are notorious for flooding disasters from baths, dishwashers, washing machines or even plumbed fridges. The mess and the ensuing stress of clean-up and dealing with insurance claims and trades can be painful and emotionally draining. More than anything, it is a complete waste of everyone’s time, especially when an event like this can be avoided.

Jesani Door and Appliance channels are designed to eliminate the risk of accidental flooding disasters. The channels are designed and manufactured using 1.5mm 304 Stainless Steel.

The Door Channels fit any Standard Door and Cavity Door scenario or alternatively, Jesani can custom design for specific projects. The appliance channels are custom designed to suit on a per-project basis. All Jesani channels are manufactured in Auckland with a 7-10 day manufacture turn-around.

The functional design of the channels provides multiple benefits from installation through to the protection for the end-user. The integral flange system ensures that whether water is travelling above the finished floor or has maybe seeped through to be running below the finished tiles, it will find its way into the channel trough.

The Door/Cavity Door Channel also allows for the shift of the central floor waste gully from the middle of the bathroom floor, thus allowing for an easy flat level space for tiling (another benefit with time and expenses saved for the client). The client also benefits with a nice floor finish without a random drain sitting in the middle of nowhere or hiding under the vanity. The emergency overflow is sitting nicely lined up under the doorway, quietly ready for action.

The JESANI Appliance Channel is suitable to contain accidental overflow from water using appliances:

Dishwashers
Washing Machines
Plumbed Fridges
Hot Water Cyclinders

The channel can be installed at any located position to suit, either at the front or rear of the appliance.

This channel can be classified as an emergency overflow, which allows for an alternative option from the normal charged plumbing system.

The channel is installed along the threshold of interior doorways between wet and dry areas within the home/apartment/unit/holiday home, thus allowing the floor waste position to be located where water always finds its way out.

Timber or concrete substrate
To suit various floor coverings, such as carpet to tile, and can accommodate underfloor heating

The Door Channel can also be classed as an Emergency Overflow, which allows an alternative option for the normal plumbing system.
