Assa Abloy launches new Interlock Weatherfold-Summit Range

Developed for folding door systems, the Weatherfold-Summit range has a greater range of applications to that of its predecessor, the Weatherfold-Coastal and Coastal Elite (which it has superseded). Among the advantages of the new Weatherfold-Summit range are its increased weight and size capacity, now available in 50, 100 or 150kg capacities, and suitable for panels up to 1.2m wide and 4.0m high. The Summit Range is suitable for use in the smallest application right through to heavy-duty residential and commercial applications.

The advantages do not stop there, with the Summit range featuring the option of an equal panel system, a new push-button locking mechanism and non-handed guides for ease of installation. In addition to this is the new locking grub screw, which cannot be tampered with when the panels are in the closed position.

The range of applications the Weatherfold-Summit range is suitable for is further strengthened by the flexibility of mortice or non-mortice hinge options, enabling installation in both timber and aluminium framing. In addition, the Summit range is available in numerous finishes - Satin Stainless Steel, Polished Stainless Steel, PVD Black and PVD Brass.
