Czech Out STRV with Modulyss

Designed by Prague architect Martin Stara, the fun, modern offices of STRV met all the requirements of the large global software engineer and design company.

STRV were looking for large, modern premises that would match the company culture, offering staff more than just corporate offices and enabling them to feel great at work. Space was required to set up a bar, gym, play zone and lots of open areas for relaxing. They were also keen on outdoor space and terraces and to top it off, they wanted all of this as close to the centre of the city as possible.

The sprawling 6000m² office in Prague’s bustling Karlin business district includes sleeping boxes, numerous swings and a wraparound rooftop terrace with its own Jacuzzi. It also has an expansive event space and an eye-catching birch tree forest, featuring modulyss carpet tiles, in a bold yet relaxing colour palette.

A combination of modulyss First, Cambridge and Xtra Cambridge carpet tiles were used in shades of blues, greys and greens, keeping the design light, airy and inspiring. This selection of tiles are a mixture of loop pile and cut pile, giving certain areas a striking textural feel.
