There’s no doubt that glass and stainless steel are a timeless look. Add to that reduced operating and maintenance costs compared to framing and plasterboard walls, reduced energy costs due to increased light transfer and the flexibility of application, DORMA Manet is a seriously desirable system.
The best bit? A glass and Manet fit out will cost you about the same as a frame, plasterboard and paint wall. Even better, the glass and Manet package will always look new and clean, avoiding the need for ongoing maintenance like paint and the plastering of holes.
There are other benefits, like the transfer of natural light, which leads to energy savings and the interplay of shape, colour, weightlessness and structure.
The Manet System is available in 304 stainless steel as standard and by special order, in 316 stainless steel.
The central component of the Manet system is the single point countersunk fitting. The clip on cover means that any mishap during the fitting process (like tool scratches) can be hidden.
The glass needs a countersink treatment to house the gasket covered fitting. The gasket protects the glass from coming in to direct contact with the stainless steel fitting.
The Manet system isn’t limited to just slide fittings. You can pivot, slide or connect. Manet is a very versatile system. The Manet AMBIENT range even allow for the design of furniture like cupboards, shelving and showcases.
The growing use of printed EVA film in laminated glass gives huge options for branding and feature walls while still allowing the transfer of light and increased privacy.
The Manet system can handle a maximum leaf weight of up to 120kgs.
On sliding versions, the plasticised stainless rollers glide across the track making the use of the system a tactile pleasure.
