Comfort the Priority with New FIRST Window Range

The comprehensive new product range works with careful glass selection to optimise interior temperature, light and sound. Leading-edge European technology has been used to stitch a nylon barrier — an insulator — into every window and door profile so that the transfer of heat and condensation are minimised.

The result is a range that achieves 35% better thermal performance over and above standard double glazed products and an outstanding 130% improvement over standard single glazed windows.

Substantial sound baffling is afforded by the 24mm-wide double glazed units being used as standard in the new range. More specialised glass options also offer additional thermal or light emission benefits.

The FIRST Windows & Doors launch package says that consumer perceptions of comfort are closely tied to the concept of happiness. Sensory responses to elements like temperature and noise are crucial to home dweller wellbeing.

A potential advantage for specifiers is also highlighted. When large areas of glass are desired for exploiting views the thermal break in every profile allows designers additional flexibility in achieving Building Code compliance from a thermal viewpoint.
