One of the last feature packs of the APL Architectural Series of high-performance windows and doors is now available nationwide. This is the APL Architectural Series ThermalHEART frame for triple glazing.

The glazing platform has been extended in depth to accommodate glazing units up to 44mm thick, thus allowing triple glazing in any Architectural Series product offering and configuration for the ultimate thermal performance in cold winter locations.

The wider platform product not only allows triple-glazed IGUs but also benefits from larger thermal breaks for better window and door R values pertaining to the aluminium profiles themselves.

A wider glazing platform also means wider sill and jamb sizes for an extra deep aesthetic. Frame sizes are 138mm wide for windows, hinged and French doors and single track sliders, 207mm for two track sliders (stackers), and multiples beyond up to several tracks with moving panels.

Installation is via many options to suit the application — with applied facings, sill trays, seismic frames and various optional internal finishing adapters

Unit sizing for this range is the same as for the current APL Architectural Series ThermalHEART offering, with recommended maximum door height of 3.0 metres.
