Bodytech Gym Gives Rubber Flooring a Workout

Rubber flooring is a proven performer in gym and fitness areas and as this recent installation demonstrates, it can look fantastic as well.

Rubber flooring has gained popularity because its attractive designs and patterns are compatible with current architectural trends without sacrificing performance, sustainability or cost. Rubber flooring is also durable and contributes to improved indoor air quality (IAQ), and is environmentally friendly.

Spaceworks specified Recycled Rubber and Ecoval TX for the BodyTech gym project, which was completed in May 2014. Manufactured by Rephouse, Advance Flooring's Neoflex range offered a variety of colours, with the added option of creating custom colours.

Part of the Neoflex range, Recycled Rubber has a number of excellent features to enhance the look, feel and life of a floor. Rephouse commercial and recreational flooring is an environmentally friendly, homogeneous EPDM/recycled rubber floor covering for areas subject to heavy wear. The noise absorbency, durability, flexibility, safety, comfort, slip-resistance and aesthetic appeal makes rubber flooring an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor commercial flooring applications.

Recycled Rubber Flooring is compliant with ISO9239-1 fire standards, and provides excellent slip-resistance ensuring safety in the work place and public areas.

Part of the Indelval range, Ecoval TX is an extremely durable rubber sheet flooring with a subtle textured surface for increased slip resistance. It is suitable for heavy traffic areas as rubber offers superior noise absorption than other resilient floorings. Being 100% PVC free and a low VOC material, Ecoval TX offers great environmental credentials to any project.

All Advance Flooring commercial rubber flooring products are made with materials that are not known to pose any hazard to the environment or to people during the manufacturing and handling process. The rubber is free of asbestos, halogens and PVC.

Advance Flooring is proud to represent the Neoflex and Indelval ranges of rubber flooring in New Zealand and compliment Spaceworks and Bodytech on this fantastic result.
