To complement their Solid Composite Decking range, BiForm have recently launched a new product onto the market, the Stack N Pack Joist Mount and Packer system. This system has been carefully designed and developed by New Zealand builders for builders. It is a cost-effective installation solution for floating decks, which allows for easy drainage while supporting the joists over waterproof membranes, concrete or other low height situations.

The versatile Joist Mounts can be used with both 45mm and 50mm wide deck joists and can be stacked on top of each other (maximum of six mounts high), creating an extra 20mm of height per mount. Using the Joist Mounts in conjunction with the packers (2mm, 3mm or 5mm) means that virtually any desired height can be achieved, levelling out angled surfaces.

The BiForm Joist mounts are made from hard wearing, durable plastic and have been tested to bear a load capacity of over 1.3 tonnes per joist mount. Given that the Joist Mounts can span up to 600mm apart, this is a great option for low height, high load projects.
