For easy access to the showroom, ASSA ABLOY recommended the Besam Powerswing automatic swing door operator complete with a slide rail system, equipped with BEA 4SAFE. Installed on their swing door’s leaf, the 4SAFE brings safety to users by eliminating the risk of them coming into contact with the moving door. This great additional safety feature is particularly suitable for protecting people with disabilities.
To secure the entrance door, ASSA ABLOY recommended the Interlock COBALT SA for single acting doors. This motor-driven electronic lock provides the utmost versatility with installation. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically, mortice or surface mount. One of the COBALT's many features, is the ability to pull in a misaligned door and to release under excessive side-load pressure when requested. COBALT locks provide high security with the locking cams having a 10,000N holding force (1,000kg). The COBALT is also available for double acting doors and will compensate for misaligned doors +/- 8mm.
For additional convenience, Armstrong opted for the Magic Switch, a deliberate microwave sensor (no contact required). The Magic Switch offers homogeneous detection thanks to the radar technology. Its detection area is adjustable between 10 and 50 cm. The Magic Switch is ideal where the lack of contact with the sensor is required as in hospital environments, hotels and restaurants, retail and pharmaceutical industries.
By featuring in the first step of Armstrong’s security showcase, ASSA ABLOY New Zealand highlights its provider position for all door and window hardware needs.
