MiTek StudLok structural fasteners have been specifically developed to provide easy alternative options for NZS 3604:2011, and form an integral part of the MiTek truss and frame design layout.

With four current size options for specific applications:

• SL170 — Blue
• For the builder to use on site when fixing top plate to studs as per section 8 NZS 3604:2011
• This can also be installed by Accredit Mitek truss and frame manufacturers
• SL125 — Green
• For the builder and suitable when fixing stringers to studs. For fixing details please refer to MiTek's stringer to stud fixing schedule
• SL125 — Yellow
• Installed by an Accredited MiTek fabricator as an alternative option for top plate to stud and lintel fixings
• SL80 — White
• For when purlins need to be on edge, or for providing a solutions to specific engineered design scabbing of trusses
