Asona Presents Designer Acoustic Ceiling Clouds

Asona's ceiling clouds will add a whole new element to interiors while soundproofing from above.

Dual-absorption sonic sponges. Acoustic clouds are hung parallel to the ceiling allowing them to absorb sound waves travelling toward the ceiling, stopping them from bouncing back to the floor. Noise and sound that escapes the first point of contact with the ceiling cloud is reflected from the ceiling and absorbed on the top-most side of the cloud — making it easier for building occupants to hear what they want to hear.

Blend in or stand out. Designer acoustic fabrics can adorn ceiling clouds, creating a focal point in a room, or alternatively subtly blend in with the ceiling. By wrapping the panels in Asona's proprietary Sonatex, available in white or a range of colours, provides a beautiful, un-intrusive sound solution. Want to get creative? The Sound Shape range has various shaped options and custom shapes can be made to order.

No wall space? No problem. These acoustical ceiling clouds are the perfect solution for offices, atriums, restaurants, call centres, and any other room where wall space is limited.

1.0 NRC rating. A Noise Reduction Coefficient of 1.0 means Asona's clouds have the power to turn down the volume, absorbing noise and creating a much better sounding environment.

Made in New Zealand. Each acoustic cloud is assembled, with care by Asona's talented production team in the Auckland factory. No long importing delivery times — just short lead times and cost savings.

Easy installation. No rocket science required. Simply screw in four spiral anchors and attach the adjustable clips and hanging wires. Alternatively choose to affix the clouds to a lightweight frame and suspend in clusters or even direct fix to the ceiling. Asona even supply the fixings.
