Create Impressive Acoustic Ceilings on a Tight Budget

The original design intent by GHDWoodhead creativespaces as design-build project managers and interior designers was for plywood ceilings in the reception and social hub, but tight budgets and the need for better acoustic performance required a different approach. “We are very pleased with the Asona ceilings,” says Mikayla Roadhouse, Interior Designer, GHDWoodhead creativespaces. “Asona was able to come up with a ceiling solution that gave us better acoustics, met the client's budget and complemented our project design look and feel,” she says. A winner all round.

Manufactured at Asona’s Auckland factory, the patented Sonaris product features the best in lightweight composite material design and functionality. “Our team is really excited by this new approach in ceiling finishes,” says Neil Ridgway, Managing Director of Asona. “It’s world-class stuff. We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art composite lamination and CNC equipment and can now roll out bespoke decorative acoustic ceiling panels at competitive prices right here in NZ."
