Asona Transforms Grid and Tile Ceilings

Manufactured at Asona's Auckland plant from a perforated polyester composite board developed by Asona, Polyfon Mesh replicates the look of traditional metal mesh, but with the added benefit of good sound absorption and short lead times.

  • Grid and tile game changer: Polyfon Mesh can be used in refurbishment of existing grid and tile ceilings, transforming the ceiling into an exciting element of the interior design.
  • Incorporate pattern and texture: Polyfon Mesh provides the opportunity for designers to get creative without overwhelming the interior ceiling. Polyfon Mesh is supplied in Diamond and Hexagonal perforated patterns and is available in white, black and grey with custom colours to order.
  • Ideal for deconstructed interiors: Polyfon Mesh provides a creative mask to the plenum which remains open to air circulation and unique back lighting options — a perfect option for deconstructed corporate interiors, retail complexes, showrooms and other large volume public spaces.
  • Made in NZ: Polyfon Mesh is manufactured in NZ from a lightweight composite board perforated to provide a mesh effect by Asona's talented production team in their Auckland factory. This means there are no long export delivery times, just short lead times and cost savings.
  • Mix and match: Polyfon Mesh has been selected by various architects when conventional imported metal products had unacceptably long lead times. The architects were impressed with the ‘look and feel’ of the product and the performance. They creatively mixed and matched the mesh panels with standard white and wood-look panels to create a contemporary eclectic style while still being able retain the existing grid system.
