ARDEX Offers Vast Colour and Texture Options for Walls and Floors

PanDOMO by ARDEX is a modern wall and floor surfacing system that provides total architectural design freedom. The range includes PanDOMO Wall and PanDOMO Floor — cement based surfacing systems that offer a range of finished textures and colour options.

All PanDOMO systems are installed by specialised contractors who have been trained by ARDEX to ensure the project is completed to a high standard and that the unique capabilities of the PanDOMO system have been maximised.

PanDOMO Floor is a self-levelling product used to create a lightly polished concrete look without exposed aggregate. It offers creative flooring systems in a virtually infinite range of colours and designs. Residential and light traffic commercial floors are transformed through the individual use of the colour tones, shading, graining and alternating effects.

The cement base material creates a surface that is both smooth and durable. A layer of just 5mm is sufficient to achieve resilience comparable to that of high-quality parquet flooring or soft natural stone. The minimal layer thickness and associated low weight mean that the creative possibilities of PanDOMO Floor can also be utilised in restoration or renovation work. The surfaces are suitable for underfloor heating and castor chairs, as well as being lightfast. The basis of PanDOMO Floor is the levelling compound PanDOMO K1. If the floor is subsequently treated with an oil / wax based stone oil, the surface acquires a silky sheen whilst at the same time acquiring anti-slip and water repellent qualities.

PanDOMO Wall is a complete system for colour, texture and trowel effects. Colours can be layered for contrasting effect. Texture can be imparted for visual impact or the wall can be laid smooth for a gentle ambience. Trowel effects can be flowing in a stone like appearance or intense for high energy aesthetics. Whatever the selection, the result is truly individual. It can be applied thinly meaning it can be used on ceilings also.

PanDOMO Wall also excels through its suitability for everyday life. Thanks to the basic ingredient being cement, the surface is extremely impact resistant and considerably more durable than conventional acrylic paints. The basis for the variety and versatility of PanDOMO Wall is PanDOMO W1, the white, cement-based decorative render. Used on its own PanDOMO W1 produces an elegant surface. Tint with colour pigments or incorporate textures to extend the possibilities. Even large coloured surfaces can be produced without any seams using PanDOMO Wall.

Within the five PanDOMO colour groups, the shades of the wall and floor surfaces can be harmonised individually and exactly suit the interior and the entire colour composition. The PanDOMO colour groups are in line with current architectural colour fashions and can serve as a source of inspiration.
