100% Recycled Nylon Yarn for Carpet

The ECO100 range is now certified by Environmental Choice New Zealand and is recognised abroad as pioneering in terms of producing carpets from re used materials.

Aquafil takes carpet material from both post industrial and post consumer waste to produce a surprising 100% recycled nylon yarn – Econyl 100. The Colbond (Netherlands) backings made partly from Aquafil’s Econyl process are branded Colback Green and will comprise bi-component filaments with a post-consumer recycled bottle scrap PET core and an Econyl rPA-6 skin.

Heritage Carpets is dedicated to minimising waste.  Choices of products are wide, but not all recyclers are the same. Take a close look at the product specification, and the composition, as well as the certifications you will be pleasantly surprised.
