Short Course on Sustainability in Christchurch and Auckland

Now more than ever, construction professionals are realising the environmental consequences of the way we plan and design new buildings.

The 'Creating Living Buildings' short course offers a full understanding of sustainability in our industry and looks at how using a strategic approach using clear goals pays dividends.  It examines collaborative delivery methods – including an introduction to the Living Building Challenge (LBC) – and shares plentiful best practice case studies to explain the solutions and tools.  Ongoing learning will be provided through webinars running until November.

The key presenter of the course is Jerome Partington – (BA (Hons) Architecture, Diploma in Architecture NZGBC GSAP).

Jerome is currently a Senior Associate at Jasmax and a Senior Adviser to The Natural Step NZ, leading some of the most advanced sustainable projects in New Zealand. He is focused on delivering restorative solutions for the built environment and was recently awarded the Living Building Challenge Hero award by the International Living Futures Institute for inspirational leadership in New Zealand.

The two-day course will be held in Queenstown/Christchurch 3rd-4th June and in Auckland 17th-18th June.  All construction and design professionals are welcome to attend (15 credits, CPD points available).
