With 810 residential consents (excluding apartments) for April valued at $355 million, the total valued for the twelve months was down 45% on the previous year valued at $5,343 million.
The trend of falling consents has buttoned off, for now, and for the second time in three months, the value of non-residential consents is higher than residential consents, thanks mainly to the $200 million Christchurch Airport project.
