Description

The VENT Apron Vent Deep Trough RV10DT Half is a polypropylene vent which enables warm air to escape from the lower roof void or through the barge detail of a mono-pitch skillion roof. The RV10DT Half has an adhesive and flexible aluminium flashing which is designed to form to roofing profiles and prevent water ingress on any pitch roof.

The RV10DT Half forms part of a passive ventilation system that works year round with no moving parts or energy consumption.

The RV10DT Half is designed to be compatible roof cladding profiles with a trough depth of >38mm.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

In the opinion of BRANZ, Roof Ventilation Products, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of this Appraisal, will meet or contribute to meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:

Clause B1 STRUCTURE: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2 and B1.3.4. Roof Ventilation Products meet the requirements for loads arising from gravity loads, wind and impact [i.e. B1.3.3 (b), (h) and (j)]
Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1 (b) 15 years and B2.3.2. Roof Ventilation Products meet these requirements
Clause E2 EXTERNAL MOISTURE: Performance E2.3.2. Roof Ventilation Products contribute to meeting this requirement
