In-Service History

The same plant and recipes that saveBOARD uses for manufacture in New Zealand and Australia originates from the USA, where it has been in operation for 14 years.  In the USA the product is installed in the harshest climates and has proven its unmatched resilience. The most iconic project to date is the USA is the roof underlay of the Tesla Gigafactory One in Sparks Nevada.

In New Zealand saveBOARD Paperfaced has been specified in a number of healthcare and education projects for the impact resistance, the low carbon impact and the credits afforded under the Greenstar and Living Building Challenge Programmes.  paperfaced is specified in the Scott Base Project.

Transportable and modular residential homes specify paperfaced for the bracing capabilities.

Residential home owners have specified Paperface as an alternative for plasterboard for the environmental benefits - a 200ms sq home will divert 7,500kgs of waste from landfill
