Description

saveBOARD betterJOINERY is made from 99% recycled materials, the core is made from shredded and compressed composite packaging and soft plastics, finished with a recycled LDPE plastic face and back. This product has a higher concentration of plastic than saveBOARD wall linings, which makes a high density product, which is stronger and easier to cut. Can be CNC machined.

In-Service History

The same plant and recipes that saveBOARD uses for manufacture in New Zealand and Australia originates from the USA, where it has been in operation for 14 years. In the USA the product is installed in the harshest climates and has proven its unmatched resilience. The most iconic project to date is the USA is the roof underlay of the Tesla Gigafactory One in Sparks Nevada.

saveBOARD bertterJOINERY is specified by Warren and Mahoney for Tourism New Zealand for the main customer interaction counters in the isite refurbishments across New Zealand. saveBOARD was selected for the low carbon impact and the circular opportunity enabled by saveBOARD. Each site sends old brochures and marketing material which are made into the betterJOINERY panels used in each refurbishment.
