DRI-CLAD™️ is a new series of 'drip resistant' roofing and cladding products manufactured using a cost-effective moisture-absorbing fleece which is factory-applied to the underside of metal sheeting. This provides condensation and moisture control, along with additional thermal and acoustic benefits, and is suitable for use in many construction projects.
Traditionally underlay is installed under metal roofing and cladding to prevent moisture leaking into the structure, however condensation can still form on the underside of the uninsulated metal and underlay. With DRI-CLAD, the fleece lining traps the moisture and prevents water droplets from forming.
DRI-CLAD™️ provides an acceptable solution for avoiding condensation, while removing the requirement for underlays in uninsulated roofs and walls.
Applications:
If designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the scope of the profile technical statement, the proprietary Polyester fleece which self-adheres to underside of Roofing Industries DRI-CLAD™️ metal roofing and cladding profile will contribute in meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:
Used on a number of large commercial Projects including Roofing Industries' new factories in Blenheim and Hamilton.
Roofing Industries is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated metal roof and cladding manufacturing business.
