Limitations on Use
  • Multicom is meant for internal use — panels are not colourfast in New Zealand's UV conditions
  • As Multicom is BRANZ tested, it must be installed according to the instructions. If these are not followed issues with the system can arise
Statement of Building Code Compliance

Multicom meets the following provisions of the NZBC:

  • Clause B2 Durability: The code requires 5 years — Resco compact laminate has a 10 year guarantee on the panel.
  • Clause C Fire Safety: Resco compact laminate has a group rating of 3 which meets the surface finish requirements for C/AS1 — C/AS7.
  • Clause E3 Internal Moisture: Surfaces of building elements likely to be splashed must be impervious and easily cleaned — Resco compact laminate meets these requirements.
  • Clause F2 Hazardous Building Materials: The Multicom Wall Panel System meets this requirement and will not present a health hazard to people.
