Porter's Universal Primer can be used in interior and exterior applications. Can be applied to most suitably prepared interior or exterior surfaces, including timber, masonry, plasterboard, set plaster, timber and furniture. Especially suited for use under Porter's Liquid Silver, Porter's Liquid Stainless Steel and Porter's High Gloss Acrylic for a smooth finish.

Can be applied by brush or roller.

Drying times: 2hrs touch dry. 6hrs between coats. Allow 24hrs dry time before over-coating.

Does not inhibit rust. Not suitable for use over previously oiled timbers. Not suitable for use over non-ferrous metals such as unpainted stainless steel, brass, copper or bare aluminium.

Universal Primer gives a very smooth finished result, so not suitable for use under products that require a rough, more absorbent undercoat, such as Porter's Milk Paint, Lime Wash, Interno, Boncote Cement Paint, Distemper and Fresco.

Porter's Universal Primer will reach maximum cure and hardening up to a week after painting.
