Whether it is the 2nd floor, or the 42nd floor, impact sound insulation is not just a requirement, but something that adds immense comfort to living spaces. ARDEX impact insulation systems allow that comfort, and the peace of mind in knowing the performance, compatibility and durability of a tested solution. ARDEX DS 70 is a high performance soundproofing matting for insulating against footfall and impact sound. And in conjunction with moisture barriers, floor preparation, adhesives, waterproofing and other finishing products it can create a full flooring system that is suitable for any project.
ARDEX Timber Soundproofing Flooring System Products:
Adhere ARDEX DS 70 to the substrate using ARDEX AF 480 MS and install timber flooring using ARDEX AF 480 MS. For solid, natural timbers, contact ARDEX for recommendations. Please note that MS-based adhesives require humidity to cure, and being between two impervious substrates, ARDEX AF 180 MS will require particular attention to the airing time of the adhesive.
Being made from recycled rubber, ARDEX DS 70 is an economical, yet high performing soundproofing option for use in residential and commercial applications underneath ceramic and stone tile and luxury vinyl tile. It also ensures that the finished flooring is isolated from any movement or cracking in the substrate.
ARDEX New Zealand supply and manufacture a range of quality construction materials, including products for levelling floors; external and internal waterproofing; and fixing natural stone and tiles.
