Description

Residential Series ThermalHEART® sliding doors have a flushline sill track with smooth sliding panels. They slide on an internal track with fixed or sashed sidelight and are rated to 2.2m high. For higher doors consider using Metro Series ThermalHEART®. Interlocker stiles and mullions are flush in the closed position.

  • Recommended maximum 2200mm high doors in Extra High wind zones — for larger sizes consider using Metro Series ThermalHEART®
  • Thermal efficiency achieved through a minimum of 16mm thermal breaks in aluminium profiles
  • 24mm IGU as standard but 32m IGU can be used with a wedged bead — compliance with NZBC clause H1 Energy Efficiency requires high performing Low-E double glazing
  • Door stiles and rails feature slender sightlines
  • Interlocker stiles vary in depth according to height, width and wind pressure requirements
Scope of Use
  • Suitable for broad residential use
  • Available in defined maximum sizes

Limitations on Use
  • For true, flush indoor-outdoor levels consider recessing the sill into the floor pad to minimise or eliminate upstand
  • Recommended maximum 2200mm high doors in Very High wind zones — For larger sizes consider using Metro Series ThermalHEART®
  • Compliance with NZBC clause H1 Energy Efficiency requires high performing Low-E double glazing
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Specification for Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233: Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
  • Conforms to all relevant NZ Building Code clauses
In-Service History
  • Redesigned and relaunched in 2022 (previous version 2011)
  • New range rolling out nationally; previous version in use in residential projects throughout New Zealand by homeowners, builders, Group home builders and specifiers
Other Performance Attributes
  • Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
  • Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
  • A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
