Description

Abodo's Vulcan Panelling brings the warmth of wood to interior applications, such as ceilings, walls, and feature eaves.

Created from thermally modified plantation timber, Abodo’s Vulcan Panelling is a lightweight, stable sarking timber with excellent thermal characteristics.

The thermal modification process means this product is naturally durable and does not require any chemical preservatives, making it a healthy addition to a home’s interior.

To create a beautiful sense of balance throughout an interior, the warmth and distinctive vertical grain of Abodo Vulcan Panelling can be contrasted with hard materials such as metal, concrete and stone, and juxtaposed against richly coloured and textured window treatments and upholstery.

Available in brushed and smooth dressed finishes in a range of profiles, this product can be customised to suit a wide variety of architectural design styles.

Scope of Use

For use internally on walls and ceiling
Externally on soffits
Can be fixed direct to framing or over a substrate

Limitations on Use

Not suitable for use in load bearing structural applications or as a primary safety barrier in exterior situations
Must be designed and installed in accordance with the Abodo technical literature

Statement of Building Code Compliance

This product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

B2 Durability: By assessment against the provisions of Acceptable Solutions B2/AS1 and E2/AS1, and testing and expert opinion with the provisions of Verification Method B2/VM1
