Description

Vulcan Nexus Cladding is a premium weatherboard product, made from thermally modified radiata pine, manufactured using a fine finger jointed timber to enable continuous lengths for a refined linear aesthetic.

Nexus Cladding can be used in vertical or horizontal applications. The WB10 profile is a secret fix profile that can be used to create a vertical shiplap look. Nexus is suitable for coating in darker colours, and is a renewable alternative to Western Red Cedar timber cladding.

Vulcan Cladding is CodeMark Certified for guaranteed acceptance with New Zealand Building Authorities and conformance with the New Zealand Building Code, and is covered by a 15 year Built to Last Warranty.

Available in six metre lengths with a singular universal profile and secret fixings, Abodo Vulcan Nexus weatherboards allow for extended vertical or horizontal orientations with no visible joins.
Like other Vulcan timber products, Nexus is created using thermally modified New Zealand plantation timber and Abodo’s patented vertical grain, resulting in superior beauty, durability and weathering characteristics.
With increased durability, Vulcan Nexus boards won’t buckle or warp in high temperatures, making them suitable for coating in dark colours.
Abodo Vulcan Nexus Cladding is a boon for sustainability minded builders, architects and homeowners, who will appreciate the minimisation of waste that results from the protracted length of the boards.

Abodo Weatherboard Cladding Systems are exterior wall claddings on a drained cavity suitable for buildings:

timber framed to NZS3604:2011 Timber framed buildings or steel framed to NASH Standard Part 2: May 2019 Light Steel Framed Buildings
located in a wind zone up to and including Extra High wind zone (as specified in NZS3604)
within the scope of Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 para 1.1, and with risk score not greater than 20
located no closer than 1m from a relevant boundary
in any exposure zone (excluding microclimates) (as specified in NZS3604)
