Both teachers and students are reaping the benefits of a more naturally lit environment, with workspaces that are light, calm and welcoming, students settle into work quickly, they are focused, and can see better, with the addition of 40 VELUX skylights. So it’s no wonder, in a recent survey conducted by the Ministry of Education, the importance of natural light was one of the top three factors in classroom design.

VELUX skylights can also be retrofitted into existing buildings — giving all schools and education providers the ability to bring older, dark classrooms into the light.
