This market requires excellent technical characteristics and the possibility of designing without considering the dimensions of the materials as a limit.

Based in Faenza, Italy, the birthplace of ceramic technologies, Gigacer are renowned for developing innovative and advanced products.

Of considerable note is the comprehensive nature of their ranges which encompasses varying tile formats, thickness and colours for any type of surface: floors and walls, furniture, and facades.

Innovation

The GIGACER production process starts from large porcelain slabs of up to 1200 x 2500mm that can be cut into various sizes whilst managing to retain their excellent technical characteristics. This creates an opportunity for design without considering the dimensions of the materials as a limit.

Technology

GIGACER’s equipment uses an innovative technology called Continua. This technology uses a pre-compacting phase before pressing, that allows the achievement of special decorative effects without using glazes, instead distributing the porcelain mixed powders. The firing at 1250°C guarantees a total vitrification of the body.

Environmental responsibility

GIGACER is committed to the safety of its workers and the environment and this is seen in the choices it makes. Its packaging uses less cardboard and no adhesives, emissions are a lot lower than those currently allowed by law, and attention to the safe working environment of their staff, is high.

CONCRETE

Concrete is a complete colour and size system with a palette in neutral and natural shades. Thirteen colours and four different surfaces adapt to different needs. The same colour can be used from inside to outside, for floors, walls, and even kitchen tops and bathroom furniture facades.

CONCEPT 1

Concept 1 uses technical solutions that have a multiplicity of uses — indoors, outdoors, on walls and furniture facades. A unique ceramic range with a fine, tone-on-tone surface, which does not alter the colour.
