Decorate The Outdoors with Cementine Open Air

In 2013 leading Italian ceramic designer Silvia Stanzani created the Cementine_20 collection with manufacturer Ceramica Fioranese. This resulted in a stunning collection of cement style porcelain tiles that reinterpreted classic motifs from the past with a distinctly contemporary spirit. Subsequent Cementine designs followed with modern interior designers and homeowners alike instantly drawn to these innovative and undeniably charming designs. Exponential growth in their popularity, particularly in bathrooms, laundries and kitchens, has continued to present day with many of Stanzanis early designs remaining important and popular collections in the Tile Depot range.

In 2019, Stanzani again collaborated with Ceramica Fioranese to create the Cementine Open Air collection. This unique collection draws upon the geometric and floral designs of the late 19th Century and recreates them in a hardwearing, durable and anti-slip finish specifically for contemporary exterior use. No longer are Cementine tiles the domain of interior spaces; these richly decorated Open Air designs offer an exciting alternative to traditional outdoor materials.

Colourful, decorative and eclectic, the Open Air collection steals the variety of shapes and designs that are characteristic of interior spaces, and offers up an exclusive exterior range. The overall effect is lively and pleasurable exterior spaces for truly comfortable outdoor living and relaxation.

The Open Air collection comprises six unique designs in a 200 x 200mm rectified format. With an R11 surface, they are suitable for a wide range of residential exterior areas such as entranceways, terraces, gardens and swimming pools.

The first shipment of this exciting new range is due to arrive at The Tile Depot in early 2021. Initially, there will be three designs arriving, however, additional designs and specialised pool coping and grate cover pieces will be available on indent.
