Designed for use with awning windows, the Guardian Securistay limits the sash opening to less than 100 mm in accordance with New Zealand safety from falling standards. This allows for more secure ventilation and provides child safety.

As a safety feature, the restrictor can be released only when the window is fully shut. This is easy to do using the release tool provided. The restrictor automatically re-engages when the window is closed again.

The Guardian’s low-profile design is discrete and unobtrusive, minimising any interference with blinds or curtains.
