Produced from the finest European pure solid brass using time honoured specialist skills to ensure performance and durability, Samuel Heath's Style Moderne Collection offers six unique finishes and four handle variations.  Samuel Heath plated finishes endure a series of polishing processes before a layer of copper, followed by a layer of nickel is applied to the surface.  

The polished-brass finish is achieved by applying the same polishing process as plated products and an electrophoretic lacquer. The lacquer is subsequently baked at 170ºC to give a hardwearing and durable finish.

Chrome plate is achieved by first applying a base of copper followed by a layer of nickel and then finally a hard gloss coating of chromium provides a lustrous hard wearing finish.  

Samuel Heath offers a 10-year finish guarantee on all chrome-plated products.

Samuel Heath Style Moderne Finishes 

• Polished nickel is a warm finish which is left un-lacquered to develop its own natural patina over time.
• Brushed satin nickel plated finish for a contemporary look. 
• City bronze is made to order across the Style Moderne and Fairfield collections for metal lever and cross top options.  A deep metallic colour.  The applied process is not a living finish, so provides a constant colour without wearing.
• Country bronze is made to order across the Style Moderne and Fairfield collections for metal lever and cross top options. A soft rustic colour.  The applied process is not a living finish, so provides a constant colour without wearing.  
• Antique gold finish has base layers of copper and nickel with a final layer of real gold resulting in a subtle light gold colour.  Samuel Heath offers a two-year guarantee from the date of purchase on its Antique Gold plated finish.
