ALPOLIC by PSP: The Ultimate in High-End Cladding

Backed by an extensive history of over 50 years, ALPOLIC is a solid and trustworthy brand that is built to last. It is available in three fire rated versions FR – A2 and A1.

ALPOLIC features a unique Lumiflon-based, fluoropolymer coating (FEVE paint coating system that is superior to traditional PVDF coatings). The coating is available in paint gloss levels of between 15 and 80% in a triple coat finish; including a protective outer clear coat layer for additional durability, and an anti-corrosion back coating. These protective layers give ALPOLIC a potential 20-year coating warranty.

Used in multiple prominent buildings worldwide; ALPOLIC is designed to withstand winds of up to 5kpa (4mm sheets) making it ideal for claddings on commercial buildings, high rise, and curtain walls.

ALPOLIC’s aluminium skins and mineral filled core offers low thermal conductivity staying flat when compared with solid aluminium / steel panels. ALPOLIC is also able to be recycled, with both aluminium and core materials recovered from customers to be reused in the manufacturing process. ALPOLIC’s specific coil coating process ensures complete colour consistency, and the continuous lamination process provides for superior flatness. With over 200 colours of ALPOLIC available on indent from PSP, as well as the ability to colour match to specific shades; the options for this product are endless.

PSP ALPOLIC®/fr is supplied as part of an external wall cladding system or as an internal wall lining, including in wet areas.

Alpolic FR is supplied by PSP for use as part of an external wall cladding system, or as an internal wall lining, including in wet areas.

When used as an external cladding the follow scope of use applies:

Location:

In wind zones up to and including extra high as defined in NZS 3604:2011 or calculated design wind pressure (ULS) of 2.5kPa
In all exposure zones as defined in NZS 3604:2011
On buildings at least 1m from the relevant boundary

Building:

In conjunction with a primary structure that complies with the NZ Building Code or where the designer has established that the existing structure is suitable for the intended building work
As an external wall cladding, on buildings up to 10m in building height and in conjunction with a drained and ventilated cavity

If designed, installed and maintained in accordance with all PSP requirements, the Alpolic FR will comply with or contribute to compliance with the following performance claims:
