Polyflor Flooring Gains Green Certification

Polyflor’s homogeneous resilient sheet, safety vinyl flooring and LVT plank and tile ranges have achieved Ecospecifier’s Green Tag LCARate certification.

Importantly for the Flooring Calculator within the materials section of the Green Star rating tools, Polyflor vinyl flooring achieved the highest possible GreenRate level A rating, scoring maximum points when specified.

Recofloor

Polyflor’s range of resilient, safety and LVT vinyl flooring is 100% recyclable and is recycled in New Zealand and Australia through the Recofloor Vinyl Take-Back Scheme. The Recofloor scheme reduces the amount of vinyl flooring going to landfill. Through the localised scheme, flooring offcuts from the installation process are recycled back into new flooring. Uplifted or end-of-life material is downcycled into traffic-calming products such as traffic cones and road-barrier bases.

Polyflor’s vinyl flooring ranges are 100% recyclable, VOC compliant and Green Tag certified, providing the ideal fit for purpose and environmental flooring solution for a wide variety of healthcare, aged care, education, retail, office and commercial installations nationally and internationally.
