CoreClad by IBuilt is one of New Zealand’s strongest plywood claddings and comes with a textured finish or textured with grooves. It is available either natural or with the recently launched CoreClad Primed.
Primed and ready
CoreClad primed uses a factory applied Dulux water-based acrylic primer that is a low sheen, dry film with a thickness of 50 microns. Applied to the face, edges and bottom 150mm of the back of the sheet, it eliminates the need for a primer coat to be applied once installed and can be painted immediately.
Treated to the core
CoreClad is manufactured from high strength, sustainably sourced, plantation pine. It is third party certified by the Engineered Wood Products Association of Australasia (EWPAA) to meet AS/NZS 2269:2012.
Uniquely, each veneer is ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated before being bonded together. This “treated to the core” process improves durability and saves valuable construction time as cut ends don’t require retreating.
Longer lengths
Available in three lengths 2440mm, 2745mm and 3050mm, there is an optimal length available for your wall, minimising waste and maximising time.
