Metro Delivers New Innovation for Self-Closing Frameless Glass Doors

The Ozone Hydraulic System is a new solution for modern construction. With many fit-outs today it is not possible or desirable to cut out a section of the structural floor to install a floor spring, and trying to install to suspended ceilings can be equally challenging. The Ozone Hydraulic patch fitting is the answer.

The Ozone Hydraulic Patch Fitting is surface mounted directly to the floor, making it easy to install and thus a more cost-effective option for frameless glass doors. Direct mounting to the floor is done with an adjustable base plate. This removes the need for pre-casting or cutting floor spring boxes, which is a slow, messy process creating concrete dust and potentially weakening the floor slab.

The Ozone's innovation is in the hydraulic closer mechanism which fits within the patch fitting and allows closing adjustment like a floor spring. The Ozone Hydraulic patch will control both single and double frameless glass door applications such as internal office doors, meeting room doors and retail shop fronts.

Used with 10, 12 and 15mm toughened safety glass, the Ozone Hydraulic Patch fitting is suitable for internal doors up to 1250mm wide and external doors up to 1000mm wide. Combined with on-glass digital printing, ColourBak glass or frosted glass for a more simplistic look, the design possibilities are endless.
