Canterbury builder Tim Pearson recently transformed a Christchurch workshop into a showcase of durability and aesthetics using forestry-certified Triboard TGV. Faced with a selection of hard-wearing products, Tim chose Triboard for its combination of resilience and easy installation, making it the ideal choice for this project.
In its natural look, enhanced with a clear coat varnish, Triboard TGV is versatile and easy to customise. With a 5+ paint finish, it can be painted or stained effortlessly. 3740mm panels were employed for this building, ideally suited for lining timber and steel-framed sheds. The innovative tongue-and-groove V design minimises the need for extensive dwanging behind joints, streamlining the installation process.
Tim utilised hardened steel gun-fired brads to secure the boards to the steel girts, complemented by a suitable adhesive. The screwability of Triboard is exceptional, allowing for the effortless display of man cave memorabilia anywhere in the space.
Thanks to its lightweight panels and tongue-and-groove system, Triboard TGV can be installed quickly by a single person, significantly reducing labour time. The finishing touches were equally efficient; with no need for plastering, Tim achieved a stunning result. The final product is a robust man shed that stands strong and captivates with its visual appeal.
Triboard TGV is the go-to solution for Architects builders seeking a perfect balance of form and function. It is an excellent choice for any project where durability and aesthetics are paramount. Tim calls it “a perfect solution for lining steel framed sheds”.
