Escea glass-fronted gas fireplaces add unique ambiance to commercial environments, particularly bars and restaurants, as proved by the roaring success of the Stuart Street Mac’s Brew Bar.
The shiny new Dunedin addition to the Mac’s Brew Bar stable is located in the heart of Dunedin’s Octagon. It boasts a freshly renovated interior featuring kauri panelling and quirky fringed lampshades for a sense of old-world warmth, which is complemented by two Escea fireplaces. The gas fires keep the bar comfortably warm and enhance the cosy ambiance.
Before patrons even set foot in the bar, they can spot the flickering flames of a double-sided Escea DX1000 from the cold street outside, urging them to come in to warm their hands and spirits with a drink or two – the heat ducting technology of the DX1000 pushes heat into every corner of a space.
One Escea was not enough for Mac’s Brew Bar, however – venture further into the bar to discover a rustic wood-panelled room with squashy couches, bookshelves, and the comforting flames of an Escea ST900. The river rock bed and gentle warmth surrounded by wood panelling evoke a gentleman’s alpine lodge — perfect for relaxing into a chair with a full-bodied Mac’s Gold Lager.
Escea glass-fronted fires have lower operational costs than open-fronted fires, and can be operated remotely by staff to maintain the perfect temperature.
