Environmental and design requirements are always top priority for Décortech, allowing them to work alongside architects and designers to find the best solutions for their projects without compromising their vision.
The recently completed Novotel Hotel project in Christchurch was designed using Décortech panels which were specified on level six and the mezzanine interior ceilings, with matching Trespa Wood Décor panels on the exterior soffits. The interior areas feature Firesafe MDF with American White Ash Crown Cut veneer designed with a mix of both acoustic and decorative panels in a clear satin UV finish. The level six ceiling is a multi-faceted design, where Décortech's specialist CAD technicians produced over 450 individual shop drawings to ensure every panel was manufactured to fit the design perfectly.
The mezzanine has glass panels floor to ceiling, showcasing the continuous flow of the Décortech interior ceiling panels to the matching Trespa exterior soffit panels. Trespa Meteon Elegant Oak Wood Décor panels were specified on the entry soffits and wrap around the entire hotel.
Décortech is committed to providing environmentally friendly options for all their panels. The environmental requirements for the Novotel Hotel were easily met with the FSC and Low Formaldehyde certifications for Décortech Veneer and Firesafe MDF. Trespa Meteon panels have FSC, PEFC, ISO9001 & ISO14001 certifications.
The striking ceiling design highlights the beauty and warmth of the Décortech real timber veneer and alongside the Trespa Elegant Oak Soffits has created a unique finish with the highest standard of quality.
