By partnering with J+J Flooring in the USA, Advance Flooring can now offer their architect, design and construction clients flooring made from recycled post-consumer waste.
Recycled from 27 plastic bottles
The PET used in plastic bottles has all the right ingredients to make great floor coverings — and that’s exactly what Kinetex does. Every Kinetex carpet tile contains the equivalent of 27 plastic bottles.
And at the end of Kinetex’s long life, Advance Flooring's recycling partner in New Zealand will take it back and recycle it again into a range of other products, all of which can also be recycled, offering product stewardship and circularity.
Stands up to heavy traffic
Kinetex is one of the most thoroughly tested flooring products on the market, 'road-tested' to 5 million footsteps with minimal wear — the equivalent of 45 years in a typical classroom or office.
Looks like new — year after year
Kinetex is a contemporary soft flooring designed to complement a broad range of aesthetics without fading or losing colour and texture over time. Engineered to maintain its appearance for decades, Kinetex is stain resistant, easy to clean with cold water and dries 75% faster than carpet.
The quiet performer
Kinetex is designed to make places and spaces quieter and more comfortable. In addition to the acoustic advantages of soft flooring over hard flooring alternatives, Kinetex provides the perceived added ‘warmth’ of a soft surface.
Easy to install and maintain
Kinetex is a practical, long-lasting alternative to hard floors or a replacement for existing soft flooring that is no longer fit for purpose. It is also breathable, facilitating installation directly on new concrete floors without risk of trapped moisture.
A sustainable innovation you can trust
With over 10 million square meters installed worldwide (and growing), Kinetex is helping architects, designers, builders and installers meet the challenges of product stewardship. Notable projects featuring Kinetex include: Raleigh-Durham International Airport, North Carolina, USA; University of London, UK; Good Samaritan Hospital, New York, USA; and Samsung, San Jose, California.
