Description

Charging leads designed for use with electrical vehicles and electrical vehicle charging stations.

Available with Type 1 or Type 2 connectors, and for Mode 2 and Mode 3 charging:

  • Mode 2 Charging – with 16A Plug and Type 1 or Type 2 Connector
  • Mode 3 Charging – Type 2 Plug and Type 1 or Type 2 Connector
  • Single and Three Phase Leads up to 32A

Scope of Use
  • Suitable for outdoor use – IP54 Weather and dust proof
  • For use with wall mounted and column charging stations
  • Suitable for use with electrical vehicles with both Type 1 and Type 2 charging inlets
  • Compatible with all manufacturers Type 1 or Type 2 Charging Stations and Car inlets
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • The Mode 2 and Mode 3 Charging Cables comply with the Worksafe New Zealand Electric Vehicle Charging Safety Guidelines.
  • Mode 2 Inline Charging Leads comply with IEC 61851-1
  • Mode 3 Charging Leads comply with IEC 61851-1 
  • New Zealand Supplier Deceleration of Conformity (SDoCs) are available from Echarge on request
In-Service History

The Charging Leads are designed and manufactured in Germany by Mennekes. 

Over the last 5 years the Charging Leads have been installed all over Europe, Middle east, Scandinavia and are now available in New Zealand.
