Description

ModWood Wood-Plastic Composite Decking is a premium quality, CodeMark certified decking product for residential and commercial applications.  Great looking, Modwood comes in a range of sizes, colours and finishes providing a wide range of design choices for all manner of outdoor settings.

ModWood decking is a wood-plastic composite (WPC) product is made from a mixture of ground sustainable wood waste and plastic, and contains no formaldehydes. It is the only WPC decking available in New Zealand with CodeMark certification.

ModWood Flame Shield is a specially formulated ModWood board with a fire-retardant additive included.

Scope of Use

ModWood is well suited to both commercial and residential projects and performs equally as well in each application.

  • Suitable for pools and salt water locations, with increased strength properties and additional anti-slip resistance
  • ModWood Marina board is a bigger, stronger board available for marinas, boardwalks, seating, garden edging and heavy duty decking areas
  • ModWood Screening is also available
Limitations on Use
  • ModWood can not be used as carpark decking
  • When installing over concrete ModWood must be installed with 40mm between the ground and the decking board
  • ModWood can not be installed where it could be submerged in water for long periods of time
